Bought an 86 ls650 basket case and discovered the large starter gear on the crankshaft and the double gear that engages it are both missing teeth, I see another savage engine on E-Bay with the same problem. I s this comon or is it a result of someone trying to start it with the decomp system disabled? Anyone have these parts for sale or know a good place to get them?
